My Review...

I was asked to repost my review in celebration so here it is...

Firstly, thank you so much @quercusbooks for sending me this great ARC book..

I loved this read!! It gripped me completely and equally just as much disturbed me!

This is not a complete unimaginable reality and I think the fact that this could one day, if wanted, become a reality that it added to the eerie ness. A complete thought provoking suspenseful read.

Alice wakes up feeling groggy and stiff… her husband explains she died five years ago and she is an AI bot that is a complete replica, with most of her memories...

Alice soon comes to discover she disappeared without a trace, and not everything her husband tells her is all he says it is. She continuously gets the feeling that she cannot trust him and when she finds a book on the shelf one afternoon with a burner spare phone inside she turns it on to receive a text warning her to not trust him, he isn't what he seems.

Told over two time frames… before her disappearance and after, you get to see how Alice met him and in between her world now you get snippets of what it was like before…

So you get to slowly build a picture leading up to the disappearance.

I am a huge JP Delaney fan and this book definitely did not disappoint.

This is a brilliant twisty, intense read that will make you gasp and leave you questioning our own future.

Grab your self a copy ASAP.

Meet the author...

Thanks for coming to my site. I’m JP Delaney, a bestselling author who’s written under several different names.

People often ask why I write under a pseudonym.

There’s no great mystery to it – it’s simply that I like to write different kinds of books, and publishers and retailers believe it’s confusing for readers to pick up a book by an author they think they know, only to discover it’s a completely different kind of story to the one they were expecting.

Personally, I think my books have much more in common with each other than they have differences. I find similar characters, themes and interests cropping up whatever I’m writing. (Sometimes I even drop in little parallels, just for fun…) And my relationship with the reader is always fundamentally the same.

I never forget I’m inviting them to come with me on a journey,  and that as their host and guide it’s my duty to enthrall them.
