My Review

Told from mainly the main protagonists perspective, Teddy Crutcher is a teacher at Belmont Academy. One of the most wealthiest schools in the country.

Teddy is a dedicated teacher who will do just about anything for his students, sometimes regardless of wether they want him to intervene or not, because at the end of the day everything Teddy does is all for their own good, even if that means doing things that are considered wrong by most people.

Teddy is a good guy in general. He occasionally makes mistakes and has to correct them in ways that are not legal but in his mind he means well and he is just trying to give his students the best start he can.

Among the more undesirable incidents, a parent did die and the death affects his favorite student in more than one in a very serious way but he is Adam bet he can fix it by getting in deeper but then the school will be back to setting Belmont's students on the right path and he can continue to be Teacher If The Year.

But one thing leads to another and more unsavoury situations need to be happen.

But Teddy isn't Teacher of the Year for nothing and even though he isn’t an original Belmont that isn’t going to stop him getting to where he wants to be.

Why I Loved It

I loved this book. The characters totally consumed me and absolutely loved how it was just jam packed with twists and turns!

With such a wide cast of characters, from pushy and self entitled parents to arrogant students, each totally different and slightly unhinged, but all keep you on your toes as to who is causing such chaos and death within the school.

I honestly thought I had guess the culprit numerous of times, only to be totally wrong!

Dark, chillingly clever and irresistibly compelling this is a book you should definitely read. After all it’s For Your Own Good 😉
