- First Lines Friday January 29th 2021 -

Hey Bookworms

First Lines Fridays is my weekly feature for all you bookworms out there in need a little inspiration.

I have been posting these over on Instagram for a while but decided to further my reach.

Each Friday I will attempt to hook you in by posting the first handful of lines of a book that I recommend for you all to read, this way I can allow the story to grab you with the magic of its opening lines rather then an eye grabbing cover or a catchy blurb adorning the back.

Then I will reveal the book and include purchase links at the end.

The first lines of this week's chosen book are. . .

And the book is . . . .

The Deadly Forest Of Quarrendon by R.P Wild

Happy F R I D A Y bookfam,

Do you read fantasy novels?

I was contacted by the author of this one to read and review his book and after reading the synopsis I decided to give it a try.

What I didnt expect was to be hooked from the first page!

Take a peek at the synopsis below, if your into fantasy reads then I urge you to give this one a try!

Heres the synopsis ↓ ↓ ↓

While one would avoid the trouble in the forest, it is the curse that the folk come to fear the most. The disease of the mind will do its best to bring out the worst in its victims. It preys on the weak and feeds on their secret desires.

Once it's taken hold of a fragile mind, it will quickly exploit any emotion, from lust to destruction.

The threat of the curse is not the only predator that lurks among the people. With eyes in every corner, Princess Atheena's powers hide in plain sight as she entices her subjects to make deals for their utter loyalty until their dying breath.

Will Hadrian Zantorian stay quiet or will he warn his fellow companions that she is the Dark Queen of the forest and it would be wise not to trust her?

How amazing does this story sound?
