This is part one to my Fantasy book recommended reads.
Personally I was a little late coming to this genre, not choosing certain reads as I didn’t like the covers ( yep I know, I quite literally judged a book by its cover ) but after getting over myself and giving them a try I actually found that with the right book, this genre is actually becoming a fast favourite of mine!
So read on, check out my reviews and if you haven’t tried Fantasy yet, I hope I have tempted you to give it a go! I haven’t looked back since 😉

This was my first ever dip into the fantasy world!
Also my first ever YA read. I assumed all YA books would be to young for me so I never tried but it was actually half way through this one that I discovered it wasn’t actually an adult book.

This was a fantastic twist on the first book, this time Tella is drawn back into the game to discover the true identity to Legend, if she can discover her name then herself and Scarloett will be free, or so they believe...

Finale by Stephanie Garber
Ok so this is the final book of the series…
Finale was the climatic conclusion this series needed, it was magical, enthralling and intense, everything you would expect the finale to be from this author.
Like all three books, I loved the split narratives between the sisters Tella and Scarlett, both so different on equally different paths that are at the same time running parallel with each other.

We are introduced to the Fates in this book, more magic and plenty of puzzles to solve.
But thats what I love about this series, every different story is a new challenge and quite literally, anything can happen. The magic weaved throughout is stunning and endless, you are totally lost when wrapped up within the story and you find yourself wanting to be in the city walls, playing the game, even though you know its equally dangerous as it is fascinating.
Following on from where we left off in Legendary, we meet with romantic entanglements, family conflicts and most of all the threat of the Fates themselves!
I loved The Fates, each one totally different and powerful, Legend being a fallen Fate himself says it all, I think the author did an amazing job of bringing this magic to life, with each fate having a different ability and some being ind whilst others just pure mean, only out for themselves.
If you want to start your journey into the Fantasy realm then this one is the one to start with. I guarantee you will one lost within the fantastical and magical world, wanting a ticket to Caraval yourself. You will love the characters and the little sexual tension that she does include is just the right amount to keep your mind guessing...

The ACOTAR series is by far the most gripping and unputdownable set of fantasy reads that I have came across, the characters are all written so brilliantly that you feel like you do not want to put the book down and come away from your new found friends, that all live a much more exciting existence.

This one had it all. Suspense, sexual tension and a fantastic plot that see Feyre playing mind games to keep herself alive and to free the man she loves…
Although you will be left guessing by the end of book two as to where Feyres heart really wants to go…

Ok. So out of all four books within this series, this one is by far my most favourite.
The bond between Feyre and Rhysand has completely won me over. I absolutely loved the two of them as a couple and the power that they hold alongside there team is just fabulous!
The war scenes are just epic! I was, quite literally on the edge of my seat…

She is constantly angry, blames herself for her fathers death, even though she herself killed Hyburn and stopped the war and point blank refuses to accept the bond with Cassian.
She has a great, dark power that she stole from the cauldron and in this story she finds herself and her power.
As with all the previous books, I was kept totally on the edge of my seat again and I can not wait to see what character this author writes about next.
