Weekly update

Hey friends,

Another week has passed filled with more books, tv shows and music to share with you all.

I have been managing to squeeze all three in despite the fact that I have been super busy with my uni work, college work, kids being off on half term and doing stuff around the house! basically, I think this week I must have incarnated superwoman 😆

Anyway, here is what I've been up to this week:

𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔

This week I have been reading a few books: all are spooky season related and have been so thrilling. The ones ill say that stood out the most were defiantly the witchcraft series by Helen Steadman ( Widdershins and Sunwise ). I'm now currently reading The Whispering Muse by Laura Purcell and as with the books this week that has kept me totally hooked; this one is equally as unputdownable.

Here is a little more about my current read...

Be careful what you wish for... it may just come true.

At The Mercury Theatre in London's West End, rumours are circulating of a curse.

It is said that the lead actress Lilith has made a pact with Melpomene, the tragic muse of Greek mythology, to become the greatest actress to ever grace the stage. Suspicious of Lilith, the jealous wife of the theatre owner sends dresser Jenny to spy on her, and desperate for the money to help her family, Jenny agrees.

What Jenny finds is a woman as astonishing in her performance as she is provocative in nature. On stage, it's as though Lilith is possessed by the characters she plays, yet off stage she is as tragic as the Muse who inspires her, and Jenny, sorry for her, befriends the troubled actress. But when strange events begin to take place around the theatre, Jenny wonders if the rumours are true, and fears that when the Muse comes calling for payment, the cost will be too high.

This week aside from the usual 90's music that I love to surround myself with, I have also been listening to more from Harry Styles. I really enjoy the music he makes and the way in which he sings, it's just such easy listening!

Myself and my son finished MAFSUK season seven this week so we are going to pick up where we left off with She-Hulk and also maybe go and see what season one looks like of MAFSUK.

I'll also hope to finish Dahmer and OTH which I'm also in the seventh season of.

The only time I get to watch my shows is just before bed if I'm not reading so I usually take a while to get through something.

So, that's been my week so far.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

𝐃𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧?

𝐈𝐟 𝐧𝐨𝐭, 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤?

xoxo
